Cody Darrah is the Dino of the Week for October 17, 2005.

After sitting out for one season in order to transfer to the University of Calgary, Cody was thrust into the position of point guard for the Dinos due to injuries to both Whit Hornsberger and Josh Feist. Cody showed no signs of rust, and showed leadership and savvy in leading the Dinos to a 2-1 weekend record.

Against Cape Breton, Cody handled full court pressure for most of the game and finished with a team high 19 points, while adding 10 assists and 4 rebounds in 36 minutes of action. In the Saint Mary’s game, Cody once again displayed his all court game and shooting ability scoring 14 points, adding 7 assists and 3 rebounds to lead the Dinos to victory. Finally, against Acadia and despite of foul trouble early in the first half, Cody scored a team high 23 points, added 7 assists and 4 rebounds in 26 minutes of action helping to spur the team on to its 89-88 victory.

Next up for the Dinos are the McMaster Marauders and the Brock Badgers this weekend in Ontario.
