Brian Finniss is the Dino of the Week for January 7, 2005.

After a weekend split with the Brandon University Bobcats, the Dinos record improved to 4-8, but they were unable to capitalize on a great sweep oppurtunity. On Friday night, the Dinos came out flying lead by the great play of Brian Finniss. In the first half alone, Brian scored 16 points, most of them coming inside the paint, to lead all scorers. Brian also hit a key three point basket down the stretch of the half to give the Dinos a ten point lead going into the break. Things continued that way going into the second half. The Dinos wound up trouncing the Bobcats 92-71 while have 4 players in double figures including Brian Finniss, the high man with 22 points, and 3 steals in 33 minutes of action.

Saturday nights game was saw the Dinos come out flat in the first half. The team was unable to muster any consistent offence until the second half. Brian, who only had one point at the break, ended the night with 10 points in the Dinos 82-67 loss. This sets the Dinos record back to 4-8 overall for the season.
