Something about the Jack Simpson gym seems to inspire the Alberta Golden Bears. Their last three games in Calgary have seen the Bears light it up from the floor, and Friday night they poured it on against an under-manned Calgary crew.

Alberta, led by Dean Whalen’s 22 pts, shot 53% and swept the boards 51-26. These numbers proved deadly for the Dinos , who only managed 33% from the floor and 60% from the line. Robbie Sihota was the offensive bright light for Calgary in scoring 15 pts. and grabbing 5
boards.

The two teams go at it again Saturday, and the Dinos have to find a way to stop the scoring barrage in pursuit of just their 5th win in 14 games.
