After two great offensive performances, Robbie Sihota is this week’s Dino of the Week.

In two huge games against arch rival Univerisy of Alberta, Robbie was eager to prove he could play at the CIS level. With two sub par performances against U of A in Edmonton to start the year, Robbie definetely turned things around with his play at the Jack. In the first game, Robbie was the Dinos leading scorer despite the 84-67 loss. Robbie was a man on a mission easily penetrating and scoring against the Bears less athletic posts. Robbie finished the game with 15 points on 6 for 12 shooting from the floor, and 3 for 5 from the free throw stripe. Robbie also posted 1 assist, 1 block and 5 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.

Game 2 was the Dinos best all around outing of the season. As a team, the Dinos shot 53% from the field, 50% from three, and 71% from the free throw line. The Dinos had 5 players in double figures including Robbie Sihota who continued his stellar play on the weekend. Robbie finished the game with 10 points on 4 for 8 shooting, 2 for 3 from the foul line with 2 rebounds and an assist in 21 minutes of action.

The Dinos will travel to Thompson Rivers in Kamloops, BC for two crucial out of division games. Currently, the Dinos are tied with the Lethbridge Pronghorns for the 3rd and final playoff spot in the Mountain Division.
